Dinners are always plated with at least four courses and complementary wines.  All meals and drinks taken on board are included, and can be enjoyed on the sun deck or in the comfort of the lounge.

A way of avoiding all the stress of modern living, from hypermarkets to bypasses, from bus passes to one-way systems. A way that is so unobtrusive that it puts the merest crease in the environment, and yet will still give you access to ancient town and villages and sleepy river banks.

Louisa carries four passengers and is perhaps the most luxurious small barge in the UK .

Refurbished in 2010 to the highest standards, the barge has two beautifully furnished cabins in double or twin configurations, both with en-suite showers.

Delicious meals are created using the freshest of local ingredients.

Louisa operates on a charter basis only, on the upper Thames from Mapledurham House.
