Take a day out to enjoy 5 star luxury aboard the Dutch barge ‘Louisa’. Your day starts at 10am with buck fizz and a warm welcome from the crew.
The captain will give a safety talk and then we are off at 11am.
Cruising toward Goring passing Pangbourne, the river winds gently through the beautiful countryside. Louisa is admired in the locks; her comfortable deck and deck furniture give you the chance to relax, setting the day as a perfect memory. The crew are on hand to serve you throughout the cruise with drinks from the bar or complimentary tea and coffee.
We moor at approx, 12:30pm and if the sun is smiling on us, lunch will be served on the deck.
If not the salon table will be set to serve you in true Louisa style. The crew will take orders for any drinks you may wish to take before lunch. Lunch will be served at 1pm.

All of your dishes are cooked on-board Louisa using fresh ingredients on the day of your cruise.
Soups and pasta sauses are pre-cooked for several hours and frozen quickly by our chief to retain their flavours ready for you to order.
At approx. 2:30pm while you enjoy your cheese, read or relax into the sights and sounds of the river our skipper will cruise back to Mapledurham.
Arriving at aprox. 4pm we take pleasure in serving you a cream tea before departure at 5pm.
